Important notice:

  • No need to bring your pet’s food/water bowl, as we will provide stainless steel food and water bowls.
  • There will be extra charge for medical assistance; it is very important for the owner to inform us if the pet needs any form of medical care. Please provide us with your pet’s medication.
  • If this is your pet’s first visit/first time leaving home, we suggest you to check-in before noon. This will allow enough time for your pet to get used to the new environment before bed time, and will allow us to observe his/her reactions towards this environment.
  • No se admiten a perras en celo durante la estancia en Dondersteen Resort.
  • Please inform us about your pet’s personality and habits in detail so we can help your pet adapt to the new environment smoothly.
  • Dondertseen Resort works in cooperation with 2 vet clinics. In case of an emergency, we will take the pet to the best qualified clinic and have the pet treated/diagnosed immediately. Health and safety of our guests is the highest priority.
  • Space and availability: We do fill up on major holidays (Christmas, Easter and Summer) so please try to call in advance and reserve a spot for your pet!

Admission requirements

  • Proof of current vaccine records for Rabies, DHPPI + L (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Para Influenza, Parvovirus), and Bordetella (kennel cough) is mandatory.
  • The Bordetella vaccine needs to be updated every year, which is standard in most boarding and/or daycare facilities. Please be sure to bring proof of these vaccinations.
  • Be sure that he/she will do well in the cage-free environment. Only social dogs are accepted
  • All dogs should be on an anti-flea, anti-mosquito & tick program, and de-wormed regularly.
  • We DO accept elderly and pets with special needs. We are more than willing to help both the animal and the owner.
